Notwithstanding the fact that their Special Counsel Robert Mueller, after a long detailed investigation, found no evidence that President Trump illegally conspired with Russian officials in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election, Democrats are still hell bent on impeaching Trump. The problem with their position, however, is that they want to impeach him for invalid reasons, reasons that do not amount to the “high crimes and misdemeanors” standard set forth in the Constitution.

For one thing, while “conspiring” or “colluding” to establish normal and friendly relations with Russia is considered a cardinal sin by the U.S. national-security establishment and the Republican-Democrat political establishment, it does not constitute a “high crime or misdemeanor” under the U.S. Constitution.

Realizing that, Democrats are falling back on the notion that President Trump engaged in “obstruction of justice” with respect to Mueller’s investigation. The problem with that charge, however, is that “obstruction of justice” is the federal government’s counterpart to local governments’ offense of “disorderly conduct.” It’s a classic example of a nebulous crime that turns on subjective interpretation, one whose purpose is to enable officials to target anyone they don’t like whenever they want.

And if anything is clear, it’s this: Democrats hate Trump so much that they are willing to do anything they can to remove him from office before his term is up, including employing the nebulous crime of “obstruction of justice” to do it.

But no matter how much Democrats and others might dislike Trump, the fact is that he won the election. He defeated Hillary Clinton by securing more electoral votes than she did. Under our system of government, he has the right to be president. Using the “crimes” of conspiring to establish normal relations with Russia or “obstruction of justice” to remove him from office would be akin to Third World coups that oust democratically elected leaders who are disliked by their military-intelligence establishment or by political elites within the nation.

This is especially true given the possibility that it was the U.S. deep state that illegally meddled in the U.S. presidential election in an effort to get Hillary Clinton, who had a vehement anti-Russia mindset, elected president. Trump is absolutely right to want a full investigation into that possibility.

Does that mean that Trump should not be impeached? No. Trump should be impeached, but only for the right reason.

What is that reason? Illegally waging war against foreign regimes without the congressional declaration of war that is required by the U.S. Constitution.

The Constitution is the highest law of the land. It is the law that we the people have imposed on U.S. officials, including the president. When Congress enacts laws, such as drug laws, we the people are expected to obey them. By the same token, federal officials are supposed to to obey our law, the law set forth in the Constitution.

It is undisputed that Trump is waging wars in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. It is also undisputed that Congress has not issued a declaration of war against any of those nations. Those wars are killing people. Just last week, U.S. bombers killed 18 Afghan police officers who were engaged in a firefight with the Taliban. The Pentagon has called it a “tragic accident.” But one thing is for sure: If Trump was not waging this illegal war, those police officers would not have been killed by U.S. bombs. Trump’s undeclared wars in Syria and Iraq have also killed people in those two countries. With respect to Yemen, New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof pointed out in his May 18 column:

It is Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates that drop the bombs on Yemen, but Washington supplies weaponry and intelligence that allow this war to drag on indefinitely. American policy is to support the starvation of Yemeni children because they are ruled by a faction with ties to Iran.

By waging wars without a congressional declaration of war, Trump is knowingly, intentionally, and deliberately violating the Constitution. By doing so he is committing a “high crime,” one that clearly warrants impeachment.

That’s what Trump should be impeached for — illegally waging war without the constitutionally required declaration of war — not for some trumped-up charges of conspiring to establish normal relations with Russia or “obstruction of justice.” 

It is crystal clear that the federal judiciary isn’t going to enforce that particular provision of the Constitution. Therefore, it is up to Congress to enforce the declaration-of-war provision in the Constitution through impeachment.

If Trump were impeached for waging illegal wars under our system of justice, he and his lawyers would undoubtedly defend by claiming that other presidents, including Democratic presidents like Truman, Johnson, and Obama, did the same thing. But under well-established principles of criminal justice, the fact that some people have violated the law with impunity does not serves as a license for other people to also violate the law.

Also, the fact that previous presidents have violated the law without being impeached for it does not constitute a de-facto amendment of the Constitution nullifying the declaration-of-war requirement.

The problem, of course, is that Democrats, no matter how much they hate Trump and want to see him removed from office, are not about to impeach him for waging illegal wars in foreign lands. That’s because they simply want a Democrat to take his place as president so that they can be the ones waging these illegal undeclared wars, just as Truman, Johnson, and Obama did.

Needless to say, on this issue the Republican members of Congress are on the same page as their Democrat counterparts. The last thing any Republican member of Congress wants to do is impeach Trump for the right reason — waging illegal wars in foreign lands. That includes those Republicans who claim to revere the Constitution and those who refer to themselves as “strict constructionists.”

The discomforting fact is that when it comes to enforcing the higher law that we the people have imposed on the president with respect to waging war without a congressional declaration of war, the Republican members of Congress are as big a disaster as their Democratic counterparts. All of them — Republicans and Democrats alike — should be impeaching and convicting Trump but only for the right reason: waging illegal undeclared wars under our form of constitutional government.

Jay Hakes, the author of A Declaration of Energy Independence, about the relationship between US national security and Middle Eastern oil, was similarly unsparing.“It is hard to overstate the stupidity of this idea,” he wrote on Real Clear Energy. “Even our allies in the Middle East regard oil in their lands as a gift from God and the only major source of income to develop their countries. Seizing Iraq’s oil would make our current allies against Isis our new enemies. We would likely, at the least, have to return to the massive military expenditures and deployment of American troops at the war’s peak.”

Hakes pointed out that Gen Douglas MacArthur, who Trump professes to admire, did the opposite when he oversaw the occupation of Japan: MacArthur brought resources in to help fend off starvation of the population.“By giving up the spoils of war, MacArthur and the United States earned the respect of the Japanese and the world, helping legitimise America’s status as leader of the free world,” he argued.

Even the most casual student of history knows that the mighty Roman Empire fell from within. More serious students of history have read tomes of scholarly research on the subject. Most of them also share the conclusion that the collapse of the greatest economic and military power in the world came primarily from within. And many of these same researchers are saying that America is on a course to repeat Rome’s collapse. I believe they are right.

Excessive taxation with unbridled spending, a hedonistic culture preoccupied with pleasure and sport, fascination with military conquest that bred overextended military adventurism and perpetual war and extreme corruption in government seem to be the consistent themes describing the fall of the mighty Roman Empire.

In truth, the Roman Empire was doomed . . . when it became an empire. The power lust of Julius Caesar drove him to lead the Roman army in many unsanctioned, unlawful and barbaric wars of aggression. But it also made him extremely powerful and popular with the Roman people. 

The Roman senate wanted Caesar to face criminal charges for his unlawful wars and summoned him home from the battlefield to face those charges. Instead, Caesar crossed the Rubicon River with his 13th Roman Legion in 49 B.C. and seized Rome by force. He then summarily dismantled the power of the senate, gave great wealth and lands to the military troops that were loyal to him and implemented monarchical law. He soon forced the senate to declare him to be “dictator for life.”

Julius Caesar was assassinated by senators loyal to the Roman Republic on March 15, 44 B.C., but they lacked the power to overcome Caesar’s adopted heir, Octavian, and were soon defeated. Their defeat eliminated all opposition to the new monarchy. Octavian, named Caesar Augustus (the title as ascribed in Luke 2:1; called Augustus Caesar in secular history), became the first official Emperor of Rome.

The Roman Republic fell when the Roman Empire began.

Historian Timothy Joseph writes:

Trump’s lawyers argued that the president’s personal position is inseparable from that of the nation itself. This is similar to the notion that took hold during the ascendancy of the man known as Rome’s first emperor, Augustus, who was in power from 31 B.C. to A.D. 14.

Trump defense attorney Alan Dershowitz asserted that “abuse of power” by the president is not an impeachable offense. A central part of Dershowitz’s argument was that “every public official that I know believes that his election is in the public interest” and that “if a president does something which he believes will help him get elected in the public interest, that cannot be the kind of quid pro quo that results in impeachment.”

This inability to separate the personal interests of a leader from the interests of the country he or she leads has powerful echoes in ancient Rome.

Much of Rome’s decline into one-man rule can be observed in a series of developments during the time of Augustus, who held no formal monarchical title but only the vague designation “princeps,” or “first among equals.”

But in fact the senate had ceded him both power (“imperium” in Latin) over Rome’s military and the traditional tribune’s power to veto legislation. Each of these powers also granted him immunity from prosecution. He was above the law.

Augustus’ position thus gave him exactly the freedom from oversight – or what Trump calls “presidential harassment” – that the president demands. Such immunity is also the sort that Richard Nixon seemed to long for, most famously in his post-presidency declaration that “when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal.”

In Augustus’ time the idea also emerged that the “princeps” and the Roman state were to a great extent one and the same. The identity of the one was growing to become inseparable from the identity of the other.

So, for example, under Augustus and then his successor Tiberius, insults against the emperor could be considered acts of treason against the state, or, more officially, against “the majesty of the Roman people.”

A critic of the “princeps” – be it in unflattering words or in the improper treatment of his image – was subject to prosecution as an “enemy of the people.”

Many higher-ups in the Trump administration, from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to former Secretary of Energy Rick Perry to former Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, have spoken publicly of Trump as a divinely chosen figure. And Trump himself declared earlier this year, “I do really believe we have God on our side.”

To this point, however, a Temple of Lady Liberty and Trump along the lines of the Temple of Roma and Augustus has not yet been constructed.

But the Senate impeachment trial has shown us how far along the identification of leader and state has moved in the Trump era. A central part of the president’s impeachment defense is, as we have seen, that the personal will of the president is indistinguishable from the will of the state and the good of the people.

Will the GOP-led Senate’s endorsement of this defense clear a path for more of the manifestations – and consequences – of authoritarianism? The case of the Roman Republic’s rapid slippage into an autocratic regime masquerading as a republic shows how easily that transformation can occur.

Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Jon Meacham is even more direct. He said that the U.S. Senate’s vote against allowing evidence and witnesses at Trump’s impeachment trial had made Trump “functionally a monarch.”

Meachan said, “He’s [Trump’s] functionally the most politically powerful president in American history,” meaning Trump has accrued more unconstitutional power to himself than any other president in U.S. history. With the exception of Abraham Lincoln, this is doubtless true.

Donald Trump is doing what no liberal Democrat could ever do: He is turning America from a constitutional republic into a monarchical dictatorship. Anyone who doesn’t see that is either completely ignorant of history or willfully blind.

Donald Trump ignores congressional oversight of the president’s financial spending; he ignores congressional oversight of the president’s ability to wage war; and he ignores congressional power to subpoena witnesses. In short, Trump has all but completely neutralized the legislative branch of government.

Donald Trump is not attacking the Deep State; he is attacking constitutional government. He is attacking the United States.

CNN analyst Stephen Collinson was absolutely right when he wrote:

[Donald Trump] is completing his project of fashioning the office around his own personality. It's unrestrained, unaccountable, often profane, impervious to outside influence and factual constraints of normal governance. The President has established dominance over his party, his Cabinet and his own media complex. He loosened Congress's constraints by refusing to cooperate with the impeachment probe.

The result is that there are very few political constraints on his behavior left.

And here is the scary part: The stronger (and more reckless and ruthless) Trump’s rogue presidency becomes, the more popular he becomes. Trump’s poll numbers have risen exponentially since his impeachment. With Republicans and conservative Christians, Trump’s popularity tops 90%.

As with tyrannical strongmen such as the Caesars, Donald Trump has made the country all about HIM. Patriotism is all about HIM. Even Christian faith is all about HIM. Any legal restraint, any constitutional prohibition, any moral impediment and any voice of opposition must be swept away. Trump is der Führer.

And just as with der Führer Adolph Hitler, Donald Trump receives his most rabid, enthusiastic, even fanatical support from professing Christians.

Writing for the Washington Monthly, Martin Longman quotes David French:

[Conservative Christians] rationalize that any criticism of Trump will weaken him and empower his opponents, so they refrain from criticizing him. Then they begin to attack his critics even when they agree with them: “They’ll echo Trump’s lies. They’ll defend Trump’s lies. They’ll adopt many of his same rhetorical tactics, including engaging in mocking and insulting behavior as a matter of course.”

Somewhere along the way, the idea of loving your enemies gets lost. Along with it, the standard against lying is abandoned. And, since Trump cannot be criticized and must be defended, every foul act in Trump’s history is either denied or ignored. Traditional norms of American government, like the separation of powers and Congress’s right to subpoena witnesses and documents, are thrown to the wayside because the president doesn’t abide by them.

Trump takes kind old ladies who worry about the unborn and transforms them into hate-tweeters. He turns upright and model citizens into apologists for sexual assault, white nationalism, business fraud, self-dealing and foreign interference in our elections.

For French, his primary concern is what this does to faithful conservative Christians. For the rest of us, the concern is what it does to the nation as a whole. As [sic] the core of Trumpism is the corruption of the national character.

Add to all of the above the fact that the establishment has successfully orchestrated almost the entire Democrat Party in Washington, D.C., becoming nothing but a cartoonish compilation of radicalized left-wing extremists, making it increasingly repugnant to most Americans, thereby making Trump look better by comparison and greasing the skids for his re-election.

The establishment Deep State has ALWAYS been about expunging America’s Bill of Rights and constitutional form of government and returning America to monarchism. It’s a lot easier for the power elite to control one man than it is 435 congressmen, 100 senators, 9 Supreme Court justices and a president and vice-president—not to mention 50 sovereign states.

Donald Trump is the strongman who will give the establishment Deep State everything it has ever wanted.

We are going back to Rome. 

Christians who are cheering on this wanna-be Caesar should remember what Caesars do to Christians.

Donald Trump promised the American people that he would protect our 2nd Amendment. No promise Trump made was more emphatic than his promise to protect the 2nd Amendment.

But now President Trump has joined anti-gun Democrats by becoming the loudest proponent for more draconian gun control laws, including universal background checks and "red flag" gun confiscation laws.

Donald Trump's betrayal of the 2nd Amendment is inexcusable--and unforgivable.

The NRA is compromised and in complete disarray and will be no help. It is up to the people who voted for Donald Trump to stop this. If they do not rise up en masse NOW and let Trump know in no uncertain terms that he has lost their vote FOREVER if he enacts these egregious gun control and gun confiscation laws, Trump will go down in history as having enacted more communistic gun control laws than any president since Lyndon Baines Johnson in the 1960s.

In this video, Pastor Baldwin presents the clarion call for everyone in America who cherishes their right to keep and bear arms to rally en masse against these police-state gun control laws before it's too late.

This is not about Republicans or Democrats, right or left or who wins an election. The right to keep and bear arms is more important than any election and any political party. The right to keep and bear arms is about FREEDOM.

My topic for this evening is “now, it’s assassinations”. What have we allowed ourselves to become? Are we no longer a nation of laws? Have we become instead a nation of men who make secret arrests? Are secret prisons now simply another tool of the federal government law enforcement? Is secret rendition of individuals now permitted out of misplaced fear? Have we decided that the writ of habeas corpus is not worth defending? Is torture now an acceptable tool for making us safe?

Unfortunately, the single answer to all these questions from the leaders of our country to many of our citizens appears to be yes. And now we are told that assassination of foreigners as well as American citizens is legitimate and necessary to provide security for our people. It is my firm opinion that nothing could be further from the truth.

Secret arrests, secret renditions, torture and assassinations are illegal under both domestic and international law. These activities should be anathema to the citizens of a constitutional republic. The real threat doesn’t arise from our failure to torture, rather desensitizing our nation to the willful neglect and sacrifice of our civil liberties fought and died for over the centuries, is the threat.

Gun Owners of America chief Larry Pratt warns that the new "Super Congress" created by the debt deal will lead America into dictatorship, labeling the move a "coup d'état" by the political class aimed at transforming the entire structure of government in the United States.

Comparing the super committee to Plato's council, Pratt pointed out that it would take just 34 Senate votes to sustain a bill put forward by the group, noting that it has been set up specifically to prevent lawmakers getting in the way of its agenda by necessitating a super majority to overturn anything introduced by the committee.

"The first act of the next Congress hopefully is going to be to repeal this horrible piece of legislation, Pratt told the Alex Jones Show, adding that the committee could be used to target gun owners, property owners, taxpayers and businesses.

"This is a game changer, they've decided that we don't need the House of Representatives to originate revenue bills, we'll just have the 'super 12′ do that," said Pratt, adding that Barack Obama would become the de facto deciding 13th member.

Legislation decided on by the Super Congress would be immune from amendment and lawmakers would only be able to register an up or down vote, eliminating the ability to filibuster.

In June, Infowars.com cited a report by WhoWhatWhy.com revealing that the “FBI was aware of an organization, possibly a local police department or private security company, that had plans to assassinate peaceful protesters during the Occupy Movement.”

The classified document released by the FBI read:

An identified [DELETED] as of October planned to engage in sniper attacks against protestors (sic) in Houston, Texas if deemed necessary. An identified [DELETED] had received intelligence that indicated the protesters in New York and Seattle planned similar protests in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin,Texas. [DELETED] planned to gather intelligence against the leaders of the protest groups and obtain photographs, then formulate a plan to kill the leadership via suppressed sniper rifles.

“According to journalist David Lindorff, the FBI planned to assassinate the leaders of the now moribund Occupy movement ‘via suppressed sniper rifles,” a follow up report by Kurt Nimmo confirmed.

The following is a transcript of Alex Jones spoken analysis:

It is essential to understand that information is being declassified on purpose, to create a chilling effect against constitutionally protected activities like demonstrations and protests. But it’s also there to mainline the idea that assassination/death squads are operating within America.

When you have the president signing the NDAA publicly saying we can kill, disappear Americans, we can torture, we can do whatever we want, that can then be given to special forces, contractors and others who have already been carrying out these types of seek-and-destroy operations in foreign countries.

So they believe it’s legal and lawful. In essence, this is the public roll-out, or testing of the waters. A trial balloon for death squads to operate openly in America.

All of this in the name of “terrorism,” when the government itself has become the ultimate terrorists.

This is psychological warfare against police, the military and the general public. It is the mainlining, the normalizing of the most barbarous, over-the-top, illegal activities that governments can engage in.

The open, premeditated plan to murder peaceful demonstrators on a scale that dwarfs Kent State protests.

This is a test to contractors, police, military and the feds–standby for your orders to kill.

This is how they’re creating an army of killers. The police need to know that this is a psyop aimed at them, to see if they’ll carry out over-the-top evil.

We’re talking about a truly hijacked rogue government that’s done this clandestinely in the third world for over sixty years.

America sat idly by while criminal elements used our government to carry out death squad operations, now it’s coming home.

Two days ago the House joined the NSA by endorsing illegal spying, which indicates the bottom has completely fallen out of our republic.

The blackest stench of tyranny now spills fourth from the mah of hell. Every form of evil is being released from its eon-old sleep to crawl openly upon the ground and devour our security, our wealth and our future.

They’re getting ready to push us into a civil war.

They’re getting ready to push the security services into confrontations with the American people, to start the conflict that they’ve scripted.

Just like in Iraq they’ve pushed the Shiites off against the Sunnis. It’s pure divide and conquer, it’s scientifically diabolical.

If observers ever want to know how the U.S. could be brought down, it would be from within, with this 21st century type high-tech subterfuge.

Obama’s Unprecedented
Purge of the U.S. Military

Obama is traitorously attempting to emasculate the U.S. military by conducting a purge of the top ranks, according to retired Army Maj. Gen. Patrick Brady.

“There is no doubt he (Obama) is intent on emasculating the military and will fire anyone who disagrees with him,” Brady told WorldNetDaily last week.

Disagreeing on issues such as “homosexuals, women in foxholes, the Obama sequester” will result in early retirement. In the past year alone nine generals have been purged from the Pentagon’s ranks. “They are purging everyone” a source told WND.

“Over the past three years, it is unprecedented for the number of four-star generals to be relieved of duty, and not necessarily relieved for cause,” retired Army Lt. Gen. William G. “Jerry” Boykin told F. Michael Maloof. “I believe there is a purging of the military,” he added. “The problem is worse than we have ever seen.”

Boykin also cited reports indicating 197 military officers had been removed by the Obama administration over the last five years.

Boykin pointed to the early retirement of Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, who criticized the Obama administration. McChrystal was forced to retire after an article penned by freelance journalist Michael Hastings appeared in Rolling Stone. Hastings later died under mysterious circumstances.

The greatest purge in U.S. military history has delivered a decisive blow to morale and poses a dangerous weakness to the readiness of troops, warned the U.S. Army’s Chief of Staff, Gen. Raymond Odierno, last month.

Currently there are only two Army brigades — between 7,000 to 10,000 troops — that are rated as combat-ready, less than one-third required for national security requirements, the General explained. “Right now we have in the Army two brigades that are trained. That’s it. Two,” Odierno said in October.

Litmus Test for Firing On American Citizens

In January of this year 2009 Nobel Peace Prize nominee Jim Garrow told Alex Jones and Infowars he was informed by a top military veteran that the Obama administration’s “litmus test” for new military leaders hinges on if they will obey orders to fire on U.S. citizens.

“I have just been informed by a former senior military leader that Obama is using a new ‘litmus test’ in determining who will stay and who must go in his military leaders,” Garrow wrote on his Facebook page. “The new litmus test of leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not. Those who will not are being removed.”

During the Clinton administration in the mid-1990s, similar accusations were made after a survey was given to U.S. Marines at the 29 Palms Marine Corps base in California. The survey allegedly asked the soldiers if they would “fire upon U.S. citizens who refuse or resist confiscation of firearms banned by the United States government.”

In addition, a former Navy SEAL, Ben Smith, said last month that the Obama administration is asking top brass in the military if they would be comfortable with disarming U.S. Citizens.

“Going back to the beginning of this administration, I’ve had friends within the community talking about how they were brought in and questioned with people from more towards the top side and the questioning… where it was pointing was do you feel comfortable disarming American citizens,” Smith told the Alex Jones Show on October 22.

On October 25, a caller to the Alex Jones Show provided footage shot during a FEMA meeting revealing the mindset of the government concerning the Second Amendment and the ability of citizens to protect themselves during a civil emergency. “When the military moves in on your street,” an unidentified official stated during the meeting, “they are now saying you have no more rights.”

Stalin and Hitler Conducted Political Purges of the Military

Obama’s military purge brings to mind Stalin’s purge between October 1940 and February 1942 of the Red Army. This purge is part of a larger Soviet historiography that saw the imprisonment and execution of more than 20,000,000 political enemies by the Soviet secret police and the NKVD.

Stalin and the NKVD were also responsible for purging the Polish military in 1940 and executing around 22,000 officers. Known as the Katyn massacre, the purge was blamed on Nazi Germany by Stalin. The Russian government denied it was responsible for the atrocity until 1990.

Other infamous military purges include Hitler’s Night of the Long Knives in 1934. In addition to purging the street fighting SA faction of the German military after Hitler consolidated power, resulting in murder of Ernst Röhm and the SA leadership, the operation included liquidating the so-called left-wing Strasserist faction of the Nazi Party and the wholesale execution of Nazi opponents.

In His Own Words: Obama Says He is a Constitution Violating Dictator

Last week we reported on the increasingly dictatorial trend of the Obama administration. Now we feature a video highlighting this disturbing trend in Obama’s own words.

In the video, Obama laments that he cannot rule by authoritative fiat and bypass Congress and the American people. He states that despite laws enacted by Congress and the American people, he will do what he wants – or rather, what his globalist handlers want.

Obama presides over an almost complete overthrow of the Constitution. It is treason manifest, but the establishment media will not point this out and instead make excuses for what amounts to a coup d’etat.

The latest violation of the Constitution came last week when Obama said he will impose by decree amnesty for illegal aliens. Remarkably, few people in Congress complained or protested this abrogation of the Constitution and the laws of the land.

Prior to this, Obama’s chief of staff, David Axlerod, said the Obama administration will call for destroying the First Amendment in order to stifle and criminalize his critics.

In May, Obama threatened to stop sending Medicare payments to old people if the Supreme Court does not rule in his favor on Obamacare, legislation that subverts the very foundation of the Constitution and underscores Obama’s arrogation of power reserved for the people.

He has worked hand-in-glove with the globalists who are determined to undermine and do away with the Constitution. Last week we revealed a leaked document posted on the Public Citizen website that details the Obama administration’s “trade objectives” under the Trans-Pacific Partnership, including a plan to allow transnational corporations to skirt American banking, investment, environmental and labor laws.

It’s Official: Presidency Now a Dictatorship spells out all of Obama’s crimes. Now is the time for a move to not only impeach this president, but put him on trial for high crimes and misdemeanors. Congress – increasingly irrelevant – needs to act before it is too late and it becomes entirely ceremonial.

1946 Archive Film Proves Despotism Has Taken over America

The Declaration of Independence boldly states: "When a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Thomas Jefferson, writing on behalf of the independent-minded colonists in 1776, backed up the Declaration's conclusion with numerous examples of British tyranny, stating: "To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world."

Compare them to the United States and global system we live under today.

Are we now free? Examine the balance of power between individuals, endowed with natural rights by God, and government, Constitutionally bound to only limited powers, as well as the leading corporations of the private sector.

A 1946 national archive film released by Encyclopedia Britannica titled "Despotism" outlines several yardsticks for measuring the balance of power of a free society and that of an outright a despotism, according to scales of respect, power, economic distribution and information. Concentrated power and wealth, centralized information and monopolistic or oligopolistic control in any one of these areas tends to negatively affect the others, and renders freedom a mere illusion.

"Look beyond fine words and noble phrases," the analyst in the archive film warns. The rhetoric of freedom in America or anywhere else on planet Earth is irrelevant if the power, wealth and opportunity resides in the hands of just a few, or worse a single entity. By any yardstick, society today is very far gone; the once free United States of America is far down the path of dictatorship, though it keeps wrapped in the stars and stripes of the flag and the lofty words of its founding ideals.

Now what? It is the duty of free people to seek and demand a better society once again.

There can no longer be any doubt – the forces of tyranny are running wild across our once great Republic. The time has come for all good men and women to rally to the aid of their country. We have now entered a historic crossroads that will decide the destiny of the United States. Arrogance and corruption has long festered in Washington DC, but the last decade has seen an extreme acceleration of criminal looting and attacks on liberty – every freedom is under sustained assault.

 

We the People, the rightful masters of this Republic, will either rise up through Congress and the states or we can trade in our birthright of liberty for the chains of a technocratic slavery. Below we list some of the more egregious acts of seditious treason against the Republic of the United States. Anyone who wishes to continue to live in a free country and to pass that birthright on to their children must research this document and then lobby state legislatures and the Congress to do their duty and remove the would-be dictator.

The time has now come for a bill of impeachment to be introduced and debated in Congress. Obama’s crimes are public, and the debate in the House will serve as a court in which to display the tyrannical activities of President Obama and his cohorts. As in the case of Richard Nixon, the exposure of Obama’s crimes may cause him to resign in disgrace. If he does not step down, the full House will then vote to begin the impeachment trial in the US Senate. The time has now come to make your decision – to stand up to evil or get on your knees as a willing slave.

- He has clearly communicated his intent to eviscerate the second amendment rights of American citizens by pursuing executive orders to curtail the right to keep and bear arms without congressional authorization and in violation of the second amendment.

Below, Congressman Stockman has pledged to move for impeachment against Obama. I am standing up against Obama right beside him, will you?

“The President’s actions are an existential threat to this nation,” reads a statement by Rep. Steve Stockman. “The right of the people to keep and bear arms is what has kept this nation free and secure for over 200 years. The very purpose of the Second Amendment is to stop the government from disallowing people the means to defend themselves against tyranny. Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible.”

- He has aided America’s enemies, violating his oath, by sending funds to insurgents in Syria who are  being commanded by Al-Qaeda terrorists.

- He has violated federal law by  overseeing a cover-up surrounding Operation Fast and Furious, the transfer of guns to Mexican drug cartels direct from the federal government.

- He has lied to the American people by overseeing a cover-up of the Benghazi attack which directly led to the deaths of four American citizens. The cover-up has been called “Obama’s Watergate,” yet four months after the incident, no one in the administration has been held accountable.

- He has brazenly undermined the power of Congress by insisting his authority came from the United Nations Security Council prior to the attack on Libya and that Congressional approval was not necessary. “I don’t even have to get to the Constitutional question,”  said Obama. This is an act that “constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution,” according to Congressman Walter Jones.

- He has flagrantly violated article 1, section 9, clause 8 of the Constitution by accepting rotating status as chairman of the United Nations Security Council. The clause states, “No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States; and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall without consent of Congress accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.”

- He has ignored Congressional rejection of the cybersecurity bill and instead indicated he will pursue an  unconstitutional executive order.

- He has signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act which includes provisions that permit the abduction and military detention without trial of U.S. citizens, violating Habeas Corpus. Despite Obama claiming he would not use the provisions to incarcerate U.S. citizens, it was his administration that  specifically demanded these powers be included in the final NDAA bill.

- He has enacted universal health care mandates that force Americans to buy health insurance, a clear violation of the Constitution in exceeding congressional power to regulate interstate commerce. Obama has also handed out  preferential waivers to corporations friendly to his administration.

- He has declared war on America’s coal industry by promising to bankrupt any company that attempts to build a new coal plant while using unconstitutional EPA regulations to strangle competition, ensuring Americans see their energy costs rise year after year.

- He has violated the Constitution’s Takings and Due Process Clauses when he  bullied the secured creditors of automaker Chrysler into accepting 30 cents on the dollar while politically connected labor unions and preferential others received better deals.

- He has violated Article II of the Constitution by  using signing statements as part of his executive usurpation of power.

“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment.”

For these, and other offenses which constitute high crimes and misdemeanors, including perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, conduct unbecoming and refusal to obey a lawful order, we call for the immediate impeachment of Barack H. Obama.
